Level switches and sensors monitor how much lubricant remains in the reservoir of a central lubrication system and warn before it runs dry. An empty reservoir is one of the most common — and most avoidable — causes of a lubrication failure: the pump runs, but no lubricant reaches the points

The cost-effective, individual OEM solution for liquid and semi-liquid level measurements – flexibly adaptable and easy to integrate.

Robust level switch for industrial applications – reliable and low-maintenance, ideal for oil and grease systems.

Compact laser level for easy installation - ideal for monitoring lubricant reservoirs and minimal maintenance.
Level switches and sensors monitor how much lubricant remains in the reservoir of a central lubrication system and warn before it runs dry. An empty reservoir is one of the most common — and most avoidable — causes of a lubrication failure: the pump runs, but no lubricant reaches the points. A level switch signals when the fill drops to a set minimum (or rises to a maximum), while a level sensor delivers a continuous reading that can be displayed and trended. Together with the reservoir and the control unit, they keep the supply side of the system transparent and reliable. The switch or sensor is fitted to the reservoir and detects the level of oil or grease — for example via a float, a probe or an electronic sensor. When the lubricant falls to the minimum, the device signals the control so that a refill can be scheduled before the system is starved. This simple safeguard turns an unnoticed empty tank into a planned, routine top-up. Early warning before the reservoir runs dry Switch output at minimum/maximum; sensor output for continuous reading Prevents dry running and the lubrication failures it causes Turns refilling into a planned, routine task Suitable for oil and grease reservoirs Level switches and sensors feed their signal to a control unit such as the VIP5 , which provides integrated min/max level monitoring and a coded remote alarm. This closes the loop on the supply side: the system not only meters lubricant to the points but also confirms that there is enough lubricant to meter. The right device is selected by the reservoir type, the medium (oil or grease) and whether a simple switch or a continuous signal is required. In service they are low-maintenance; routine care is limited to checking the signal and keeping the sensor clean, and to the usual reservoir inspection. A level warning that appears earlier than expected can also flag an unnoticed leak.
