Double distributor valves

Dual metering valves meter lubricant precisely to the lubrication points in dual-line central lubrication systems and make the metering visible. In a dual-line network, the two supply lines are pressurised alternately, and the dual metering valve dispenses a defined quantity on each changeover — to one or two outlets — while an integrated indicator pin confirms that the cycle has actually taken place

Product description

These double distributor valves offer absolutely safe and perfect functioning of both outlets. Each of the two towers is equipped with a microswitch that emits an electronic signal each time lubricant is added. Ideal for mounting in clean, dust- and water-free locations (or with a protective housing).

PRINCIPLE

Dual metering valves with function monitoring

Dual metering valves meter lubricant precisely to the lubrication points in dual-line central lubrication systems and make the metering visible. In a dual-line network, the two supply lines are pressurised alternately, and the dual metering valve dispenses a defined quantity on each changeover — to one or two outlets — while an integrated indicator pin confirms that the cycle has actually taken place. This combination of precise dosing and visible function makes the valve a key building block for reliable, monitored lubrication on large machines and plants, working hand in hand with a dual-line system . On every line changeover, the valve's piston moves and delivers the set quantity of oil or grease to the point. The movement drives an indicator that shows the operator — or a downstream sensor — that lubrication has occurred. Because the delivered quantity is defined by the valve, each point receives exactly the amount it needs, regardless of line length or the number of points elsewhere in the system. Precise, defined metering to one or two outlets per cycle Integrated function indication for visible cycle confirmation Reliable operation across long lines and many points Robust design for heavy industrial environments Ideal building block for monitored dual-line systems Dual metering valves integrate directly into dual-line networks and complement central monitoring: their indicators can be read visually or picked up by sensors and reported to a control unit such as the VIP5 , so the lubrication state of the whole plant is traceable. The right valve is selected by the required delivery quantity, the number of outlets and the medium. In operation, the valves are low-maintenance; routine care is limited to occasional visual checks of the indicators and the usual inspection of the surrounding lubrication system. Should a point stop receiving lubricant, the indicator makes the fault easy to locate.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about dual metering valves

What do dual metering valves do?
They meter a defined quantity of lubricant to one or two outlets on each line changeover in a dual-line system, and indicate that the cycle has taken place.
How is the function monitored?
An integrated indicator pin moves with each cycle, giving a visible confirmation that can be read directly or detected by a sensor and reported to the control unit.
Which systems use dual metering valves?
Dual-line central lubrication systems, typically on large machines and plants with many points across long distances.
How is the right valve selected?
By the required delivery quantity per point, the number of outlets and the lubricant medium (oil or grease).
Are they maintenance-intensive?
No. They are low-maintenance; care is limited to occasional checks of the indicators and routine inspection of the lubrication system.
