Push-in fittings

Push-in fittings connect lubrication tubing to pumps, distributors and lubrication points without tools — the tube is simply pushed in and held securely. They make installation and modification of a lubrication system fast and clean: a tube is inserted into the fitting, where an internal collet grips it and an O-ring seals it, and it can be released again by pressing the collar

Plug-in fittings are the ideal solution for quick, tool-free connection of plastic or metal lines in lubrication systems. They offer reliable sealing and are particularly suitable for confined installation spaces.

PRINCIPLE

Push-in fittings for tool-free connection

Push-in fittings connect lubrication tubing to pumps, distributors and lubrication points without tools — the tube is simply pushed in and held securely. They make installation and modification of a lubrication system fast and clean: a tube is inserted into the fitting, where an internal collet grips it and an O-ring seals it, and it can be released again by pressing the collar. This speed and simplicity make push-in fittings a popular choice within the fittings and connection range, especially on systems that are assembled or changed on site. Inside the fitting, a gripping collet holds the inserted tube against the line pressure while an O-ring forms a leak-tight seal. Pushing the release collar frees the collet so the tube can be withdrawn and reconnected. There is no need for cutting rings, nuts or tools — which speeds up both first installation and later changes, and reduces the risk of an incorrectly tightened, leaking joint. Tool-free connection — push to fit, press the collar to release Collet grip plus O-ring seal for a secure, leak-tight joint Fast installation and easy modification of the system Reduces the risk of an incorrectly made, leaking joint Available in a range of sizes and configurations Push-in fittings connect the tubing between the pump , the distributors and the lubrication points, and work alongside anchor blocks and couplings to build a clean, serviceable layout. Their tool-free nature makes commissioning and later changes quick and error-resistant. The right fitting is selected by the tube diameter, the thread or port and the pressure of the system. They are essentially maintenance-free; care is limited to ensuring tubes are inserted fully and to checking joints during routine inspection. A tube pushed fully home is the basis of a reliable, leak-free push-in connection.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about push-in fittings

What are push-in fittings used for?
They connect lubrication tubing to pumps, distributors and points without tools — the tube is pushed in and held by an internal collet, sealed by an O-ring.
How is a tube released?
By pressing the release collar, which frees the collet so the tube can be withdrawn and reconnected.
Are push-in joints leak-tight?
Yes. The collet grips the tube against line pressure and an O-ring forms a leak-tight seal, provided the tube is inserted fully.
How is the right fitting selected?
By the tube diameter, the thread or port and the system pressure.
Do push-in fittings need maintenance?
They are essentially maintenance-free; ensure tubes are fully inserted and check the joints during routine inspection.
