DropsA POLAR GREASE of NLGI class 2 is a grease for lubricating bearings, joints and guides in industrial applications. It adheres well to the friction surfaces, stays at the lubrication point and forms a load-bearing, durable lubricating film. Because grease does not run off like oil, it is the right choice wherever the lubricant must remain in place. POLAR GREASE sits at the heart of DropsA's lubricants range for grease-based systems. Grease consists of a base oil and a thickener that holds the oil at the lubrication point. The thickener acts as a reservoir, releasing the base oil to the contact under load while keeping it where it is needed. This is why grease both lubricates and seals. The NLGI 2 consistency is a versatile, widely used class that pumps reliably through automatic systems while staying firmly at the point.
