What is the VIP5 control unit used for?

The VIP5 is a compact electronic control unit for automatic centralised lubrication systems. It governs the lubrication cycle of dual-line and progressive systems, monitors the reservoir level and signals faults — turning a mechanical lubrication network into a controlled, traceable process. With its integrated LCD display and simple menu navigation, the VIP5 is commissioned and adjusted directly on the machine, making it a natural companion to a progressive distributor or a dual-line system and the pump that feeds them. The VIP5 adapts to the application through three selectable operating modes, so the controller matches the machine rather than the other way round: CYCLE — the lubrication is timed by the number of cycles, ideal for predictable, steady-running machinery. PULSE — the cycle is triggered by external pulses (for example a machine signal), tying lubrication directly to actual operation. FLOW — monitoring is based on flow feedback, so the controller confirms that lubricant has genuinely reached the points. A pre-lubrication function provides a controlled start, and a coded remote alarm reports any deviation before it becomes a stoppage.
